The Deer Park Club proudly sponsor the Grand United Cricket Club.
Established in 1926, Grand United Cricket Club is a junior and senior cricket club located at JR Parsons Reserve in Sunshine Victoria.
The club proudly field sides in both the senior summer (9 teams) and senior winter (5 teams) seasons. Along with their involvement in senior cricket, the club is extremely passionate about junior cricket with an ever-growing list of sides from Under 10s through to Under 17s, providing a great opportunity for both boys and girls to enjoy the game of cricket in a caring and supportive environment. Involvement in the exciting Woolworths Cricket Junior Blast program is another way the club provides a pathway for the budding junior cricketer.
The club is proud to heavily subsidise junior membership which allows increased participation and involvement in the game with further initiatives planned in the near future which will continue to see increased participation and accessibility to the sport of cricket.
With their 100th year this season and holding rights to the oldest sporting club in Sunshine, their ongoing growth and progress is a testament to those involved at all levels. Over the last 25 years the club has won 13 First XI Premierships, named 2025 Finalist in the category of ‘Sport and Wellbeing Organisations’ at the We are Brimbank Awards plus have an absolutely amazing $4.5 million Pavilion on the way.
