Founded in 1903, The Victorian Turf Cricket Association is a non-for-profit sporting organisation that manages turf cricket across the North-West region of Melbourne. VTCA clubs extend from Donnybrook in the North to Royal Park/Parkville centrally, Williamstown to our South and out to Melton and Sunbury in the West.
The VTCA are the largest turf cricket association in Victoria and have provided the opportunity for turf cricket participation at a grass roots level on a continued basis for the last 120+ years. Continually growing, the VTCA manage 65 clubs in total including over 250 teams and overseeing 130 cricket matches across each weekend between October and March. The Association also receives further admission requests from clubs each year.
Participation is spread amongst men, women and juniors of all ages in competitions which include Men’s Senior, Women’s Division, Under 18 and T20 competitions.
An initiative which the VTCA proudly run is the Bill Pewtress Academy for young and upcoming juniors. The Academy provides high-level opportunities for young cricketers as they develop greater and improved techniques among other aspects of the game.
