
North Sunshine Eagle Football Club
The Deer Park Club proudly sponsor the North Sunshine Eagles FC.
Established in 1975, originally the Albanian Eagle Soccer Club before the club changed its name in 1993 to the North Sunshine Eagles.
The club proudly field sides in both senior men and women along with a growing list of junior sides. The junior playing opportunities at the club are immense with girls’ sides in U10, U12 & U13 plus boys’ sides from U7 through to U18. The perfect platform for junior development and a rise to the premier league level currently represented by both senior sides of the club.
Two homes venues are utilised by the NSEFC, More Park and Larrisa Reserve,
Over the coming months of October and November the Club will be running their 4-week Summer Program with expressions of interest opening shortly – the club welcome new and returning players from the local community.
From competing in the State League 3 in 2013, the NSEFC senior men’s side has experienced a stellar rise over the past decade and now competes proudly in the Victorian Premier League.
The North Sunshine Eagles FC are extremely proud to have two homegrown players competing in the highest national level competition, the A-League. One of these talented players (Besian Kutleshi) recently became the youngest player to represent Western United in a professional fixture during their Australia Cup Round of 32 clash. On top of this amazing feat, Kutleshi is also a current Australian Joeys (Under 17) representative.
Hosting events to increase the exposure of the sport and participation is also high on the agenda for the NSEFC with the club hosting an all-girls gala day in mid-September and the Albanian Cup at the end of October.
