Sunshine Baseball Club was founded in 1938, built on the back on a number of amazing volunteers throughout the club’s history.

A club which boasts opportunities for juniors, seniors, men and women, focusing on player development all the way through their junior teams, to their senior teams.

Sunshine Baseball Club has strong values which emphasis a positive environment. This starts at the junior level with their program being heralded as one of the best in the competition, with many youngsters enjoying and developing their skills, as well as a love for the game. With the inclusion of Tee Ball and Rookie Ball programs, junior numbers have been steadily increasing over the years.

With their strong values, programs and providing vast opportunities, comes the success on the field. The club has won a number of premierships highlighted by 2 Division One Women’s premierships and 4 Division One Men’s premierships, with the most recent coming in the season just past. Along with the premiership successes, the club has been fortunate to have numerous Victorian and Australian representatives proudly wear the Sunshine colours.

Sunshine Baseball Club is 12 months of the year club, operating both the summer and winter baseball seasons. The Summer season runs from the months of October to March, and the Winter season runs from April to August. The club holds open days in the months leading into each season allowing new players to the game to try the sport. Fees are kept to a minimum by the club to ensure a greater level of accessibility.
